On March 11, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, as part of an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, visited the new administrative capital – the center of the new future Arab Republic of Egypt.

The head of state, Emomali Rahmon, was shown the new administrative capital – the center of the new republic.

The construction of the city started in 2016 and continues at an accelerated pace. Despite the fact that the city is mainly intended for administrative buildings of the new capital, it also provides for the accommodation of about 7-10 million residents. The total area of the city is about 688 square kilometers.

The new capital is divided into 20 different towns, including the town of government buildings, the town of finance and trade for banks and private companies, the town of arts and culture, the international Olympic town, the city of knowledge and the blue river, and the diplomatic town.

Already, some important state and international events, as well as meetings of the Government of Egypt, are taking place in the new capital.

It was reported that the new administrative capital – the center of the new future Arab Republic of Egypt – is located in the Cairo province and is located about 70 km east of the current capital – Cairo and 65 km from the Red Sea coast.

The need to create this city is dictated by the high population density of the current capital of the country, since more than 30 million people live on its territory.

The President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, after getting familiar with the new administrative center of the Arab Republic of Egypt, wished the friendly country prosperity and the people of Egypt – well-being and new achievements.
