Reception of credentials from 12 new ambassadors of foreign states

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, received credentials from 12 new ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary of foreign states at the Palace of the Nation on March 2.
At the ceremony of presenting credentials to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of: Japan – Aiki Toshihiro, the Republic of Korea – Kwon Dong Sok, the Arab Republic of Egypt – Nazih Ali Baha Ad-Din Al-Nagari, the United Arab Emirates – Muhammad Said Muhammad Al – Ariki, the Sultanate of Oman – Ibrahim ibn Ahmad Al-Muini, the State of Israel – Zeavit Ben Hillel, the Kingdom of Belgium – Henri Vantigem, the Republic of Austria – Willy Kempel, the Kingdom of Norway – John Mikal Kvistad, Romania – Madeline Lupu, Sovereign Order of Malta – Yvan Lalanne Berdouticq presented their credentials with greetings from the leadership of their countries.
During his speech, the head of state, Emomali Rahmon, sincerely congratulated all the ambassadors on the beginning of their diplomatic mission in this honorable and at the same time responsible position in the Republic of Tajikistan and stated with confidence that the ambassadors, through their fruitful efforts, would give a new impetus to partnership relations between countries, bring valuable contribution to various areas of cooperation.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, emphasized that during the 30 years of independence, Tajikistan has constantly sought to establish active and constructive relations with all countries of the near and far abroad, to expand the ranks of its partners and friends in the international arena. To date, the Republic of Tajikistan has established diplomatic relations with 180 countries in different regions of the world and is consistently taking the necessary measures for the sustainable development of relations with these countries.
The President of the country stressed that we are establishing and expanding mutually beneficial and equal cooperation with a wide range of the international community in various fields of politics, security, economics, trade, and in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
The head of state, Emomali Rahmon, noted that the absolute majority of the countries whose representation was entrusted to the newly appointed ambassadors were among the first to recognize the sovereignty of Tajikistan and today are one of the most active international partners of our state.
The President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, spoke about the development and strengthening of friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Israel, the Kingdom of Belgium, the Republic of Austria, the Kingdom of Norway, Romania, the Sovereign Order of Malta and Canada. He expressed the hope that the newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary will fulfill their responsible mission and make consistent efforts to achieve the noble development goals and strengthen friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation relations with Tajikistan, and raise them to a qualitatively new level.
During his speech, the head of state, Emomali Rahmon, spoke about the current difficult situation in the world, stressed that in such a sensitive environment, effective international solidarity and cooperation, strengthening mutual understanding in relations between states as a key factor in the stability of the world community in the face of security threats are becoming doubly important.
“In this regard, today we are facing big tasks related to the further expansion and development of relations of friendship, constructive cooperation between countries,” said the head of state, Emomali Rahmon, and stressed that Tajikistan regards the further development of partnership with the countries of newly appointed ambassadors as an integral part of foreign policy, and its prospects are good.
In conclusion, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, once again wished success to all the ambassadors on the occasion of the start of their activities and stressed the readiness of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to assist in the promotion of their diplomatic activities.
