Event Dedicated to National Unity Day

On June 8, 2026, an event dedicated to National Unity Day was held in the conference hall of the Committee for Local Development, with the participation of the Committee’s leadership, invited guests, and staff members.

The event was attended by and featured speeches from the Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Kamoliddin Muminzod, and the Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the National Unity and Revival Movement of Tajikistan, Ms. Rudoba Mukarram.

During the event, participants comprehensively discussed the historical significance of achieving National Unity and its role in strengthening peace and stability, advancing statehood, and promoting the country’s socio-economic development. It was emphasized that National Unity, as a great achievement of the people of Tajikistan, has created a favorable foundation for sustainable development and the strengthening of national statehood.

In his remarks, Chairman of the Committee for Local Development Kamoliddin Muminzod stressed that National Unity, as a unique historical achievement of the Tajik people, was attained through the wise policies, strong will, and consistent efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Emomali Rahmon. It was noted that the Leader of the Nation played an invaluable role in restoring peace and stability, ensuring national reconciliation, and building the modern Tajik state. Today, thanks to unity and mutual understanding, Tajikistan continues to make steady progress toward sustainable development and comprehensive advancement. It was also emphasized that preserving and strengthening the achievements of National Unity is the sacred duty of every patriotic citizen.

For her part, Rudoba Mukarram, Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the National Unity and Revival Movement of Tajikistan, spoke about the role of National Unity in the development of modern Tajik society, the patriotic education of the younger generation, and the strengthening of civic responsibility. She highlighted the importance of such events in enhancing political and social awareness.

At the conclusion of the event, it was emphasized that the staff of the Committee for Local Development will continue to make a valuable contribution to the implementation of the state’s constructive policies and to strengthening the atmosphere of peace and unity in society.
